I was visiting a friend’s blueberry farm (been in her family for hundreds of years) — most beautiful place I’ve ever been! I was so sad to leave that I left 3 hours late… hence no time to stop and charge before my train!

Totally makes sense! I pulled off Maine to Massachusetts (3.5hr) starting at like 60% charge last summer (I *could* have stopped to charge many places if I hadn’t been racing to catch a train) but I usually plan out my travel to be no more than 2 hours before a charging stop.

This is part of “choosing the better tech”. Gas stations didn’t just appear overnight, they were built out.
Putting (standardized) fast chargers every 300 miles along major highways would not be that hard.

The NYC tourism board says that NYC holds between 200-250 parades a year. 52 weeks in a year, M-F being 5 days, that’s 260 days right there, meaning approximately 1 parade per weekday, when would the Mayor get anything done going to every parade including new made up parades?
