The database reveals severe shortcomings in efforts to eliminate forced marriage globally. We hope it will support meaningful conversation about what laws need to change to effectively tackle this violation that affects millions of people (mostly women and girls) around the world

Yesterday on International Human Rights Day we launched our new Forced Marriage in Domestic Legislation database - a sibling data set to the Antislavery in Domestic Legislation database.
