When I was in Jr high we had an empty locker that didn't lock. So all the girls stored their Bath and Body Works products there. It was like a mini store right across from Spanish class.

When I was a child I would get so excited when library books were due after my birthday. That meant the big day was coming soon!!

In my old university town we did science bar nights where experts talked about their work at a bar. They were VERY popular. And it wasn't a fancy town.
