Pleasure is not evil. You are not evil for wanting it. No matter who you are, how much you make, who your family is, what you’ve done or haven’t, you are worthy and deserving of all the pleasure. Gatekeeping pleasure is the stuff of power hungry patriarchy. Don’t let them tell you what you deserve.

Last night’s public poetry was so sweet. Had a couple teenage buddies who wanted poems about mental health and their friend communities, and this budding poet, with whom I gladly exchanged Substack subscriptions.
