So yeah, guess I won’t be going to California this November. I think it’s safe to say that my goal of getting to every NHL arena before I’m 50 (in 2034) is dead in the water. Even when/if Trump goes at the end of his term, that wouldn’t leave enough time to get them all in.

Thinking about starting a new YouTube channel, or maybe even Twitch. Potentially around gaming, but older games that I grew up on.

Can’t decide whether to keep the California part of my holiday in Nov. As a trans person, the shit going on in the US is exceedingly worrying, but read in various places that California is relatively safe, and the new Executive Orders regarding markers don’t apply to foreigners, but worth the risk?

San Marino must be the most likeable international team. No-one ever seems to have an issue with them, and everyone seems happy for them when they win a game (except for the team they beat, obviously).

On one hand it was a decent point for the Imps at a ground where we don’t have a great record.
On the other, Exeter were there for the taking and can’t recall Wickens having to make a save. If we had a proven goalscorer at the club, we’d have won that comfortably.

Should hopefully hear back today on a job I interviewed for on Monday. Less freedom (ie, I have to work from the office permanently, rather than hybrid), but a pay rise of more than £10,000 more than makes up for that
