I recently spent a week in one of my most loved places, the Central Coast of California. I walked this beach more times than I can count, and shot many sunsets & sunrises. I always come away feeling like my head & heart have been reset. 💙

Snow is quite the rarity where we live, so to have an hours-long snowfall and a nice dusting tonight was very exciting! Fingers crossed it'll still be here in the morning... we may even get in a little sledding! ❄️

I used icm to photograph this stand of Aspen trees in Grand Teton Nat'l Park, creating a dreamlike blur of yellow & gold. The strong vertical lines of the trees' distinctive white trunks act as a counterpoint to anchor the composition. #BlueSkyArtShow #icm #landscapephotography #photography

I took a trip to Acadia National Park with @colleenminiuk.bsky.social in October, and photographed these marsh grasses at Eagle Lake during our first sunset shoot. The grand scene was beautiful, of course, but this small moment really spoke to me.

It's been hard to choose an image for my first BlueSky post, so I decided to go into the archives for something I haven't shared before. I photographed this pelican, a bird that I love in all its smelly, ungainly glory, at my favorite beach on the central coast of California ~ very happy memories!
