Mastodon is quite heavy, but some other implementations are really lightweight. For example GoToSocial is fine with older Raspberry Pi.

Also, the racism and fatphobia in those books aren't even a "society bad" parts of it and don't play a part in the story itself, they are purely author's expression.

The difference is, Fallout doesn't shy away from showing the systemic issues of pre-war world and if wasteland was restored back where it started, it would be quite certainly considered a bad ending. Potter goes "Voldemort dead, happy end, Harry wants a sammich from his slave"

It's not even that good. I mean, that thing literally says "overweight = bad" and "slaves like to be slaves and it's cruel to fight against it", wizards of color have racist names, and the finale is everything getting back to status quo, even if the system was obviously broken.

And for a "kid gets to a magical world and becomes wizard" theme, Owl House series. It also makes fun of Potter all the time, which makes it even better.
