I’d rather be out standing in my field.

Husband noted, the industry can’t support the number of people who are looking for jobs.

But at the rate we’re going, no industry can. How many friends do you know who are looking for work currently? I am seeing dozens of posts daily from people in my community desperately seeking work.

“Adamski pushed back on framing the cuts as the defining story of the acquisition. ‘This is not about eradicating jobs. This is about building a company for the future,’ he said.”

“While he acknowledged that the layoffs impact ‘a lot of people’s lives, and we’re terribly sensitive to it,’ he described the overall number as ‘a very low single-digit type of efficiency.’

“The job cuts are in addition to the 3,200 roles IPG shed this year ahead of the acquisition, and the 3,000 staffers Omnicom let go after announcing the deal last fall.”

But wait, it gets better.

Happy holidays to “the marketplace”

Anyway I spent most of today outside & much of it with my kids and we are extremely fortunate but I still feel like I, and they, were robbed of so much. Knowing how other families are being impacted by SNAP, ICE or other preventable tragedies makes it almost worse, when we are so safe. For now.
