We officially raised a Salisbury University freshman. She’s all settled in and off to the start of another great adventure-perhaps her biggest yet. I couldn’t be more proud, yet I can’t believe my baby has grown to be this bright, spunky, funny and beautiful young woman ready to take on the world!

Happy Birthday to me. Here is my 45 year old face. The rest of me is still stained with betadine and bruises from this past week’s adventures, so we’ll just ignore that for now!

UPDATE: Surgery went smoothly and they were able to complete it via cath, so best case scenario. Will be in the hospital for a bit longer, but now to focus on healing!

Well, this is one hell of a way to start off a birthday week, but alas, here we are. I have two pesky blood clots in my left leg and the only way out is surgery again, so tomorrow morning at 7 am I will be undergoing surgery to remove them. Positive energy of all kinds appreciated. 💜
