Yep, need to start thinking about targeted urban retreat alongside flood defence, with support to those in floodplains who are already most financially vulnerable

That sounds very uncomfortable. Like in the UK, I imagine you build houses to keep the heat in, not to cool off.

Good article. We use treated, potable water for so many things that recycled water or locally captured water would be perfectly fine for, but we don't have the local/household infrastructure for that yet.

I've shared that with my wider social media and asked friends to email their MP if they're concerned about climate change, and I'll be doing the same too. Really useful stats to understand the difference between opinion and perception.
