As part of my job I approve employee travel expenses, and the amount of money spent storing a vehicle while it's not in use (especially at airports) is mind boggling. Public transit to airports is essential. #urbanism.

My step-kiddo moved from the Seattle area to live with us in Ohio a few months ago and most of their comments on Ohio are along the lines of "WTF is this weather!?". Yes, we can have all 4 seasons in one week, that's why we layer and never actually put away the winter clothes.

My son keeps staying up too late reading and I'm torn between absolutely loving that he likes to read but also not wanting to deal with a sleep-deprived monster the next day. So far, reading is winning.
