In November, the bank sent me a letter warning that my account was inactive. By the time I received it after to the Canada Post strike, the only remedy was to "visit my local branch." Linked PayPal account is used for a single online subscription. Writing's on the wall, eh?

Canadian here. I was also able to buy the EPUB off the UK ebooks.com by using my regular PayPal account and entering a UK phone number and postcode when prompted.
