Here is the recipe that I use. As you can see Mum wasn’t really into detailed methodology. This will give you two sponges in 20cm tins well greased and dusted with flour. I cooked at 175° for 20 minutes. Tip the sponges out of the tins onto a rack immediately. Good luck. Any ?’s just ask.
