Dead zones form in the Gulf where The River drains at the basin of Louisiana. Hurricanes serve a crucial purpose. They stir up the water and help oxygen circulate into the dead zones, restoring Life. I learned this shortly after I got my cancer diagnosis Strangely reassuring in face of stormy times
Because the hard working river carries the entire agricultural and industrial runoff of the northeastern part of the states, and as far north as Canada, Dead zones form in the Gulf where the river drains at the basin of Louisiana. The hurricanes of summer and fall serve a crucial purpose. They stir up the water and help oxygen circulate into the dead zones, restoring Life.
