Today we had a playdate with one of the baby’s school friends. Her friend’s mom is 23. I could have graduated college, gotten married and birthed her in a “conventional time frame” at my current age. I could be HER mom, right now.
Plus side, she told she thought I was 30.

Not me obsessively monitoring the weather trying to decide if we made the right decision to stay at the beach… again. During every major storm. Bonus, your bff is 1.5 hrs south of you also on the coast and you text non-stop about said storm, where it is, what your watches and warnings are.

I need to understand why the difference between the two highest settings on my heating pad are “death” and “meh.” Why isn’t it “death” and “maim”? Or “meh” and “ehhh meh ish.”
