On 10/14 a bunch of people started attacking me in a server I was lurking (not interacting) accusing me of being a pedophile because I'm trans and my profile reflects that. I have the trans flag in my profile picture alongside my pronouns. There were at least ten people doing this and they changed my nickname in the server to pedophile and despite me trying to explain to them that I'm not there to cause harm, not all queer people are predators and being gay and trans are completely different things they refused to listen to me so I left and was rather mentally distraught from the experience. It happened out of nowhere and escalated SO FAST I didn't take screenshots or try to report the messages individually. I just left because I couldn't take the mental and emotional abuse related to nothing beyond my queer identity. I just joined because I wanted to understand why this community is so fixated on someone they are always insulting and harassing. I had no interest in antagonizing this "Cyraxx" or "Patricia" or whoever they are. Because of my experiences I think this community is extremely hateful and willing to antagonize any queer person for any reason. It's also worth mentioning that they called me "retarded" when I have Multiple Sclerosis and ADHD which is mentioned in my bio. Cyraxx was also born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and they describe Cyraxx with the same term. I've done my best to try and move on from this but my mental health has been negatively affected. I'm the type of person who can't ignore injustice and I've made guides on reporting hate speech and predatory behavior on other platforms so not only was this an attack on my identity, but an attack on my character that doesn't reflect who I am in any capacity. I'm writing this at 3 AM, this is something I am losing sleep over. Please do something about this horrible community! low effort response from Nelly telling me to report messages individually which I explained I can't do. Fuck you Nelly.
