Saying BlueSky has a death threats problem sounds like the fools saying TikTok has a misinformation problem. Social media has a humans problem, meaning none of these issues are unique to one single platform.

If you turned off cable news for the last time after the election, hats off to you. But please find a new independent news source to follow instead. Be warned though, I had a lot of emotions on Election Day and blindsided wasn’t one of them- bc my independent media wasn’t afraid to tell it straight.

How many independent media and podcast interviews did the leaders of the Democratic Party do today, since they are now starting to talk a big game about “building up progressive alternative media?” Don’t just talk about it, lead by example, and don’t just keep doing cable news.

We are all entitled to time spent in our echo chambers, for mental health sake, for comfort, for a little treat. But a TikTok saying “purrrr I have no mutuals who follow RFK” is not the flex you think it is.

Is it reckless to criticize hormonal birth control online in this political climate? I could talk nonstop about menstrual cycles and cycle tracking, but someone (with usually good intentions) insisted I “keep it to myself”. No matter how much I replay her take, I am just not seeing it that way.

If I ever refer to Trump’s 2024 win as landslide victory just know i understand it wasn’t actually a landslide, but rather I never fathomed that he could ever win the popular vote. 🤡

I hate to sound like MAGA but who’s running this country? Hearing DJTs response to a drone related question made me nauseous. He’s talking so so coherently 😅 And he may also save TikTok? (Or at least appear to gaf) Do the democrats *wanna* see him get record high popularity ratings?! I mean jfc.
