I know you probably would rather bath in fire than watch most American superhero stuff, but he is the reason the HBO Watchmen show was shockingly good. He wrote the single best episode and was the show story editor. And I suspect it was his voice that helped shape the show around the Tulsa Massacre.

He is wildly talented as a writer, and I guess you know the medium you work in most to start. My suspicion is he only improves from here if he continues to direct.

Also it doesn't work like that? They are private and not subject to any recent legal ruling abomination in the UK. You can't gotcha them out of this even if this was a real idea, nothing here would require them to let trans men in anymore than any other man.

This is also reflected in that even on an immortal timeline time is still real to the characters. Seven years was seven years, and that's a long time. No immortals don't notice time stuff.

Been wanting to ask about this- was the decision made from the get go that the first YA was sometime in the murky DC past so allowing Galaxy to be an adult trans lesbian hero without having to "get there" against the grain of of resistance to aging up modern teen heroes and possible erasure?

I would bet early plans for Max, say when S4 ending was being written, might have been much more about a rescue by the now sidelined boys.
But in the years between writing S4 and S5 not only did they figure out Sink can out act them in a heartbeat she became the bigger name.
