Canadians are furious. And per capita we buy a lot of alcohol. The liquor board of Ontario is a contender for the largest single buyer of alcohol in the world. We can't punch as hard as the US but we can still make it hurt.

Some side effects are real and common and your doctors should warn you. The problem is they often don't because they aren't actually well informed about the risks themselves.

I am sorry but this reply doesn't look at the text or my reply. This is a WELL DOCUMENTED side effect, not anecdotal. Listed on every drug insert and medical site that talks about these drugs. Often referred to with the horribly sexist word 'moodiness,' what they mean is depression.

It's of course important to defend unrestricted access to the birth control pill but depression and resulting possible suicidal ideation is a well known side effect. It was on the insert when I took it 20 years ago and one of the types I tried definitely caused depression for me.

This is really despicable. You could have done reporting in this based on photos. Using an imprisoned human as a model (who has no free will to consent) is gross. (I understand this might be a horrible man we're looking at but that shouldn't give you licence to stoop so low).

This number includes abuse of children, elders and the article even mentions gang associates. Can we please try and make posts even sort of based on the article?

This headline doesn't match the article (or the headline if you open the article). The article does not mention rape or stalking (not that those things don't happen to men but not at 25%). It's about violence a man experiences from someone they are close to not particularly intimate partners.
