I have also had this experience since becoming a mom in MANY spaces ! Dental hygienists, hair dressers, people at the park, once a chiropractor when I was on the table - it’s like “oh you’re a mom, you must also dehumanize people under the pretense of “safety””.

I taught myself to cut my kids hair when my stylist upped their rates to $120 before tip. 🫣
