Today we honor Charlie Gearheart, lead singer and songwriter for Goose Creek Symphony, who performed with Jimi Hendrix, the Allman Brothers, and appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. But we also recall them playing at Hillbilly Nation Celebrations in Wise, VA.
