If more straight white guys could actually see life through others perspectives and experience even a smidge of what others, not like themselves go through - *maybe* they could finally grasp equality. And that it takes nothing away from them. 1/

I feel we are seeing the results of people who have not ever experienced consequences for their actions. And it is affecting us all. Zero accountability and lots of finger pointing, while a wrecking ball is crashing through basic info and services.

It’s scary how easily the people are divided. How information (algorithms) are geared at people. My spouse and I can’t discuss current events easily, because his info stream explains the crap away or stages the mirrors right. If we could stop the misinfo feeds, we might have a chance at uniting.

It was easy to quit X. Not so easy to quit meta, primarily FB. Additionally, until another company can provide what Starlink can for rural areas, I need it to be able to work from home.
