It’s really frightening how far from reality these people are…

I’m pretty tiny but mighty & don’t live in NYC anymore, but for the 10 years I did, I almost exclusively rode the subway, including when I was cater-waitering and going home from a gig at 3 am. And when I go in for a work event or to visit my kids, I still ride the subway. He’s out of touch.

Sure, it’s going very well for the people he means it to go well for. For those who won’t lose everything, and will jump in when everything hits rock bottom and scoop up a bunch of bargains and amass even more wealth.

How tf did we get here is my question. How did people not see (or care about) the clear and present danger that goes with having him in ANY position of power? There were SO many warning signs.

I don’t know how people can be saying “I didn’t know” or “I expected more”. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.
