I am so sorry. It’s been more than three decades since my mom passed away. I always miss her, but she is with me - in memories, family stories, the look of her grandchildren, and the many things she taught me. Your mom will be with you too. Wishing you peace.

Old lady here. Followed a non-traditional timeline for both my career and my family. I too felt most visible in middle age. Now I’m old and invisible, but that too has a big upside. I don’t worry how I look because no one cares, and I express my opinions more easily. Beautiful photo, by the way.
