Oh yes yes yes! I am a medical ethicist and “informed consent” is such a joke in most medical procedures (I speak from personal as well as professional experience). I love this!!!!

I think that this is so so accurate. It is certainly my experience of the people I know who support Trump. “Well he’s [thing that is objectively and demonstrably false]!” And providing examples of how it is false doesn’t shift the dial for them. It’s why I am bracing for another Trump term. :(
