Yes I can see there are 4 trains at that time but I'd rather not have the hassle of worrying if I could get on them, and also ot feels against the spirit of a general strike to use them

Paris also delivers the brut for my tastes. Notre Dame de la Salette in 15e is still my favourite of all the modern churches I've been to.
But very much looking forward to Milan and Pavia.

Also universities: defunding the humanities so students are illiterate in ordinary languages

And restricting park users to the top and far side only. In other parks holding festivals, eg Crystal Palace or Gunnersbury, access seems more egalitarian.

Even though they were much closer to Manchester, my grandparents generally preferred going to the Bradford club as it was more for "intellectuals", whereas the Cheetham Hill club was seen as a bit too common.
Never think migrant communities are homogeneous - there are always intra-distinctions.

They were good friends with the bride's parents in the Lithuanian DP community in Bradford. The reception was at the Lithuanian club in Manningham.
