I was working on this illustration of me and Birdie for ‘Halfway to Halloween,’ before I realized she wasn’t going to be here for another Halloween.

When Birdie was a puppy, she had the biggest ears, compared to her little body, so I often drew her as a bat. I am still working on this piece.

An illustration I created of my little old lady baby Birdie. She passed away on May 14. I miss her so much. I was so heartbroken, the only thing I could do was create a portrait; sugar kisses, cloudy eyes and little tummy.

Next post: I was working on for halfway to Halloween with Birdie as a bat.
