Had a lot of fun doing this a couple of weeks ago!
This year I’m setting a reading curriculum for myself each month. This month’s topic was something like Americana: Race and the character of the nation. My favorite read of the month was James by Percival Everett. It’s had a ton of buzz this year and for good reason!

I just read In the Winter Woods by the wonderful @susannaclarke.bsky.social. It’s a short, touching, slightly weird read, and kid friendly imo. Solid add to the holiday book lineup!
