I found other people reporting the same/similar side effect when I looked it up online. Not full-on dissociation, but after going off it I did realize it did feel like I was in a bit of a haze all that time. I'm on half that dose now, trying to find a balance. So yeah, do your research!

Agreed. I went off Wellbutrin for a while because I mixed it up with other medication and accidentally overdose, which caused a seizure. While off of it, I found I could draw again after years of struggling to--the higher dose killed my creativity. A weird not-well-known side effect, apparently.

Wellbutrin isn't safe for people who are prone to seizures so that might be off the table for them too, but of course that's something to talk to their doctor about.

I've had that with my cat as she's had moments where we thought we were gonna lose her, then things got better, then other issues popped up... It just wears you down. I'm so sorry this time has come. Wishing you all the strength you need, and the recollection of all the good memories you have of her
