I am a potter working in the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall. The work that I make is thrown with a grogged terracotta and decorated with thick slips. I fire high, to 1220 in an electric kiln.

Yes, it seems the community here is small, but still enthusiastic! I haven’t had a lot of time to explore yet, but we’ll have tomorrow in Zurich and Bremgarten, so I’m looking forward to that!

Hi Julie, thanks for your interest! I do most of my teaching through the Leach Pottery, and I don’t have any throwing large classes on the books this year. I believe it will be offered again next year when the new studio is finished. You could join the mailing list for classes, they sell out fast!
