The energy The Prodigy are bringing to the crowd is phenomenal. They should really have been headliners on the pyramid stage IMHO

Is it really necessary to especially report from Gatwick where the plane was meant to land @bbcnews-uk-rss.bsky.social and how is it ok to put up footage so soon of two men just about to board that died imminently? Seems like you're reporting a terrible event like a circus spectacular.

I don't want to be all pathetic n all but the spider I just found in the bathroom had actual defined thighs and the circumference of a pint glass was not big enough. I'm a bit shakey now!

This winds me up so much myself. We re all busy. Ultimately, if your best friend forgets, doesn't reply for weeks, doesn't try... They re not your best friend.
It shouldn't be hard slog to speak to your bestie
You be the judge: should my best friend text me back more quickly?
Priya doesn’t know why her pal takes so long to reply. Mandy says she gets distracted and forgets. You decide whose explanation pings true

Got into bed. Felt a sharp pain into my foot. Pulled back the duvet and it's a ruddy wasp!!! What the hell! Currently in pain with my foot in a basin of water in the bathroom.
I will never got to bed without checking what's inside it for the rest of my life!

How is it so hard to offer services within a smaller time frame than an entire day's wait in this day and age?
Booked this date 7mths ago. Specified the AM. This is what I get.
We don't all work from home & you can't just expect people to book an entire day off work to get their boiler serviced.

I admit this is me. I've been a waitress and I know you have to check in with your diners. But TOO many interruptions... esp if in midst of an important conversation. Generally if I need something, I'll make eye contact. No eye contact-don't interrupt!

I have nothing but respect for waiters – except when they interrupt me | Adrian Chiles
I’m an undemanding diner who just wants to be left in peace to tell my world-beating anecdotes. So please don’t ask if I’m enjoying my meal when I’m mid-flow, writes Adrian Chiles

Interesting....I wonder how often Duolingo feels I'll need to have this particular sentence to hand?

That feeling when you send 6 texts to 6 people days ago and not one of them has yet to text you back.
A bit like here on Blue sky at times tbh!

I find Kemi Badenoch's appointment as leader of the Tories still such a bizarre choice. There are many Tories I'm sure that are not self-serving, party first-country second, headline grabbing for headline's sake, incompetent idiots yet some how the majority of them Voted her in for it?
Baffling.

Why is the BBC allowing Nadine Dorres and Piers Morgan to cast opinion on #bbclaurak today?
Can surely only be for click bait - certainly can't be for any quality, grounded, factual debate.
I myself have subsequently clicked off.

Explained to my 8 year old earlier that back in the dark ages I had to wait one full week for the next edition of a magazine I liked (smash hits) and a tv programme (TOTP) Mind was blown.
