Searching for a satisfying definition of Somatic (a word that seems to be overused, often inappropriately, and baffles me even though I’ve been in spaces full of this word for decades) and today I found this… ‘Somatic is a fancy word that just means dealing with the body’ and I am satisfied.

The right are ranting. Don’t rant back. Do good stuff with kindness and attention. Inspire rather than intimidate… that’s what I’m telling myself. Too much energy spent responding. Call it out, and then get on with things that are worth giving your energy to. And do it with other people.
