also in fall i put big pavers over my tulip pots to stop the squirrels, i checked on them today and the tulips were pushing against them!!! so they are now getting some light ☀️ but they are on their own against the slugs, there was one already under the paver looking for a meal 😭

back in the garden today 🌱 needed to transplant our old rose bush to the front garden, but it turned out to be 2 bushes entwined 😵💫 i was able to get one loose, the other one looked much older with a massive taproot. hoping it survives the move but i made lots of cuttings in the autumn for insurance
