My cat is deeply bewildered that my dog doesn’t wash himself properly and has never learned to use a litter box. (She sometimes tries to wash him but her tongue tickles him. I’m marginally more cooperative when she tries to wash my hair)

I do love how open she was to changing her mind and how her thinking evolved over time.

This made me laugh so much. It reminded me of when my lab was an adolescent who hadn’t quite worked out his braking distance. Although Fudge is a bit taller than the perfect knee folding point.

I was diagnosed at 40 and it made sense of so many things I’d always struggled with. It enabled me to be kind to myself about them. The idea that there’s nothing really different and me and I should have just kept yelling at myself more makes me want to scream.

I have been known to accidentally shut Meg (cat) out of the living room. She doesn’t howl. She gets Fudge (dog) to yell at me until I let her in.

Why are they determined to make people miserable? (Also seems incredibly stupid. We really want people to access healthcare from a public health point of view. A TB outbreak costs rather more than a taxi to the doctor.)

Oh the Labrador is definitely the main culprit. My cat lives indoors so no muddy pa prints and I think she contributes about 10% of the hair 🤣
