Also - a little difficult to make a male getting absorbed by the female's body work well with simple board book language. 🤣 I love this book, and even my older nieces and nephews, who love weird things, yelled at me for "killing their father" after we read the book. 🤣

Sadly, the anglerfish was a last-minute cut for the book. Too many good sea creatures.
