Leyland Cecco lives here (and I spoke to him for that article); he's their Canadian correspondent. But I love that they covered Bill and his nonsense; that made my entire year.

If you haven't seen it yet, Kawartha Lakes This Week's Denby coverage from 2014 is hilarious (he was running for mayor).

He's gotten more attention since then. People know who he is. They are less likely to give him the benefit of the doubt. Good. GOOD!

Also, his claims and goals have gotten wilder and weirder, which helps; even people who haven't heard of him are far less likely to listen to him now.

I'm largely flogging a dead horse at this point. Which, fine. Initially, a lot of people hadn't heard about Bill and might've taken his claims at face value without actually looking into him. When he speaks, he doesn't sound quite as deranged as when he writes emails.

Today, at 8:14 am, one last email (forwarding the other two, to the same recipients, as far as I can tell). Just two words in the email body:

Again, you can see his weird magical thinking - if anyone thinks this is untrue, they have to sue him. If nobody sues him, then that proves that it is all true.

I don't know who would waste time or money suing him over this, but it sure as hell ain't me.

That first email was sent at 2:43 pm on December 3.

A second, longer email was sent to largely the same collection of recipients at 9:49 am on December 4.

First of all: there is a sovcit/sovcit-adjacent/pseudolaw belief that, if you send an "official notification" of something three times and nobody disputes what you're saying, that automagically makes it true.

His own friends and followers have suggested to him that he stop doing this and he ignores them. The running theory is that he's dyslexic and does this to make his writing more readable for himself, but it could just be that he's always angry and yelling.
