A huge, creepy sea monster lurks menacingly beneath the surface of a subterranean lake. All around it are the ruins of once futuristic ships. This is the giganath from the Arrhenius TTRPG.

The "Dear Alice" animated commercial is one of the defining pieces of media for presenting a Solarpunk future.

I've seen heavy criticism of this animation (most notably the fact that it's an advert selling a product to begin with) but it's still a beautiful work of art.

I mean on the plus side I'm now fully recovered from burnout at last, but this now means that I have a mountain of stuff to get done that I couldn’t manage when I had burnout, which ironically puts me at risk of burning out again 🙃

I also need to finish remaking my website so people can sign up to my mailing list but this keeps getting delayed since I'm still playing catch-up on my life after 3-4 years of total chaos, which has created a huge backlog of work for me.

I will keep you all posted on when the new website is ready.

I consider the Solarpunk movement to be a scenius, one capable of pushing back on the current political climate of doom and fear.

I really like this idea of "scenius" to replace the concept of the lone genius. It’s a much healthier and more natural way to approach creativity that does away with the myth of the great man and encourages collective intellectual/creative pursuits and cooperation.

Tip for the GMs, writers, and worldbuilders out there...one that is very pertinent to the current political climate;

Criminal does not mean evil.

You really need to bear that in mind when you write criminals. Being in conflict with the law does not inherently make someone evil.

Introducing the cloverkin!

Tread carefully in the woods, it can be hard to spot these magical beings.

Most cloverkin are born with three leaves on their heads, but cloverkin that are born with four or more leaves are revered as spiritual leaders due to their unique perspective.

Cloverkin also have close bonds with Leprechauns and have been known to help set them free when they have been captured.

Cloverkin are known for their extremely close relationships and they are the only species of little folk who never fight each other. Every individual they come across is considered part of their family.

When hiding from danger, cloverkin will clump together to appear as one plant.

There's this really cool short film called "Centrifuge Brain Project" which I can only describe as "A mad acientist makes theme park rides."

It's this weird combination of analog horror with the old footage and megalophobia witrh the physics-defying rides that you probably make up in your sleep.
