So long story short, the haunt sucks, roblox did a shit job, do better.

The final nail in the coffin was that there were 5 free cosmetics, most of which don't even fit on the average roblox playermodel. Every other cosmetic cost at least 90 robux, and you would recieve popups for these purchasable cosmetics whenever you were in the hub.

Not only that, the voting was unmoderated, which led to the costume categories being dominated by the game's MONSTERS, not by PLAYERS. This further distanced the incentive to play the event and make a costume.

The hub wasn't even worth exploring either, as all rewards received for exploration were hub only. This led to players entering the hub, going to the voting stations, voting, then logging off.

There was no well explained reward for winning said contest (i don't even know if there was a reward at all), but there was a direct reward for voting, which directly discouraged going anywhere other than the hub.

They did not tell any of their developers about this centerpiece, leading to many games creating in depth, story intensive horror experiences, which mostly went unused due to only finding out last minute that it was a dressup contest.
