Its a good website for furries. Its a good website for enthusiasts. Its not good for content creators like me. Maybe a side website but if I used it as my main it'd be career suicide

twitter will have to actually DIE for me to stop making money off it. im sorry. but this gives me the chance to use bluesky as an exclusive be myself having fun website. i can post about furry shit here and im enjoying it. i dont like the crazies but posting is fun at least

it feels like weasyl again. was it ideally the better option compared to FA? of course. but FA cant be replaced. its too late and its too big.
twitter while it sucks is rooted in apps. has plenty of cross support still. and the algorithm still supports ANYONE.

bluesky could kinda never replace twitter because you cannot get Jake smith from iowa who likes the atlanta braves to get his ass on here. you cant. and that is GENUINELY a large chunk of my money. the regular guy. the user7463452. the algorithm

i understand what people mean when they say "it takes time" and "engagement here is different because theres less bots" but this misses the rest of the problem, the everyman. the casual. the normie. furry artists probably dont see the same drop in followers i do, which is the issue

i hate twitter as much as the next but i also despise ALL social media. none of it is good. im gonna use the one where my money is at first because pleasure is not the game here. if wasnt making money i would lurk anonymously at best
