The Government removing the requirement for functional skills means I can finally complete my work based apprenticeship. My tutor said that most of the questions on the maths papers were not "functional". I completely agree and had no bearing on the course I am taking, or my day to day work.

Every year we are encouraged to buy lots of calorie laden food and drink for the Christmas period, often over indulging and then inevitably complaining about the weight gain. Can we normalise eating normally and in moderation instead?
