I don’t know if it’s because it’s the end of the year but I have zero motivation to do anything 😅 Thank goodness my kid will be on winter vacation soon!

So I started voice acting earlier this year and I really enjoy it. It seems like I’ll get more gigs next year and a client loved my work today, which is awesome.

I grew up dirt poor raised by a single mother on welfare. I didn’t eat often and started working at 13 to buy things like textbooks and clothes for myself. So it’s really hard for me to get past the mentality of always worrying about money.

I make very little from my blog but I feel an immense sense of satisfaction when I write something that’ll hopefully be helpful to others.

We’ve had guests over every weekend since October. Today is the last weekend this year, husband’s coworker+family.
They’re coming after having lunch so I offered to bake a cake. Except that I haven’t baked a cake in years, and never in Japan.

It’s always so strange to me that I, an uncool person and loner, somehow married a guy who’s been popular his whole life (so far).
Now people in the neighborhood are coming up to me to tell me how cool my husband is and I’m awkward as hell when it comes to replying 😅

Can’t believe people think it’s okay to sell shirts on Mercari as “brand new” and “never used” but send it with hair and crumbs on it 🤢 This happened to me TWICE in the last three days! Have these people never heard of a lint roller…?!

Husband has been gone on a business trip for two days so I’ve been watching the kid alone and this afternoon my mental resources were depleted.
Completely didn’t recognize another mom (she was wearing a mask and uniform but still) and then proceeded to forget my kid’s piano lesson 😭
