This picture of Jedi and a tiny female zebra jumping spider is one of my recent favourites.

The spider did a little threat display - they stand tall and put their abdomen up - when Jedi moved, then settled and tried to hide under her leg.

Thanks. Tons more to be said on this and I didn’t say anything new or controversial, I just don’t think people necessarily understand how complex the issue can be.

Thanks. Wasn’t anything terribly controversial but I think it’s important people understand that it’s not the fault of those people coming in with lower acuity issues that the emergency department is full.

It’s hot. Our heat pump (which does the A/C) is still pooched despite a second board being replaced.

While complaining of being hot and sticky, we had to decide what to do with a bunch of lemons.

Briefly considered pie, curd, bars.

Nah. I put the kids to work juicing. Perfect lemonade.

Im speaking to the use of the term on social media, and I was describing how paternalistic traditions define women’s worth.

I cook and clean and mend and preserve like my grandmothers did, though am fortunate to have had opportunities that were denied to them.
