I still have my dogs tags with my name, address, father’s name, blood type, & religion inscribed on them that my parents bought me during that time. I was 7 & I thought whenever I was hiding under my desk during drills, “This desk & dog tags won’t do a thing to save me if a missile hits near us.”

I’m a blue dot in Indiana. I’m a lifelong blue dot and I’ve only lived in red states. LA, MS, NC, GA, AL, IN. I used to have my blue dot husband of 38 years, but he has suddenly passed away.💙
