While I’m no expert in this field it is my understanding that the medical examiners office is legally required to preform an assessment to determine time of death if no one is present to declare TOD at the time of their passing.

All evidence points to him dying after the fact.

10:09 AM: Citizen calls to report man found hanging who “appeared deceased and beyond help”

11:24 AM: Givan is pronounced dead by the authorities.

According to APD “life saving measures were not attempted as he was beyond help”

Yet he died after they arrived 🤨

While most of the info at this time is very muddy, from my perspective it points more toward a cover up than a hoax. I’m sure there are bad faith actors involved but it’s way too early to start calling Givan’s friends and family liars. /7

They have subsequently killed hashtags, deleted comments, and restricted access to posts calling his “suicide” into question.

Additionally, this is a municipal election year in ABQ, in politics if you aren’t playing offense, you are playing defense. /3
