This is so ridiculous! How can anyone believe that Amanda Gorman was “judging a book by its cover” when she expressed how it felt to finally read a book written by a person who looked like her.
In Texas districts that used at-large voting systems, well-funded and culture-war-driven movements helped elect school board members who have moved aggressively to ban or remove educational materials that teach children about diversity.

By moving to the “center,” Democrats have failed to fight the forces that led us to Trump: widening inequality and the unchecked power of billionaires.

There's no "center" anymore between a takeover of the government by oligarchs and true freedom.

As Trump tries to dismantle the Department of Education, remember that his plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% would give the 100 largest corporations a tax cut larger than the entire department's K-12 budget.
