If you can turn in games like RE4 Remake and Alan Wake 2 for 60-70 and games like E33 for under 30 there's less than no reason for me to be sympathetic to these companies crying crocodile tears that they need 90 dollar games and AI just cause they're too stupid to make something that isn't 200m+

Labyrinth of the Demon King is an effective horror dungeon crawler that really makes the most of its grimy feudal setting. It's got big Silent Hill vibes if that's your jam.

I must have a different definition of Escapism than the people in those reviews
i'd say i engage in escapism fairly often with most art i partake in (most video games)
But that was never ruined by "political" stuff getting into it.
