I did try a couple of years ago and they couldn't sit still. Might just show them the opening again and see if it clicks.

They generally like the show, and know who the Klingons are without knowing a lot of the deep lore, but I think they liked the scene and the music because they soon started looking for "fighting music" to play their games with.

I watched this with my kids the other night, they couldn't understand why I started giggling when this came on.

Could you please add the posts where the other team scores as well? I'm not liking these surprises of finding we've been scored against, especially later in the game, and you know how much the Sabres like to give things away late in the match.

I was amazed. It became my favourite episode to watch because it really did have that boldness in terms of story and visuals, and just having the Klingons and Worf again.

I first read the novelisation well before I learned that it was an actual episode. Young me thought that it would make for an awesome show, but that it might be a bit too bold for DS9 to make. 😂
