it makes sense to me. one to keep in pristine condition for the shelf and one for reading and gets worn out from use. maybe this is just my justification for multiple copies of same book.

my feeling exactly. It had it uses but the rollout and replacement of everything to ai is not good. Is definitely not ready for this level of integration and there are many reasons it should never be.
