Been playing around with unity 6 and tried to make my own anime shader. I just need to do some extra work for the hair and I think it'll be good enough.

I saw that Kuro Games uses 3ds Max for their modelling and animations. So I have committed to learning the same process and software for our game!

Using Biped was honestly quite fun! Here are some of the many animations I made for Ichor Burns!

I didn't like the results of post-processing or dot products on the face shadows in UE, so I did some research and learned how to hand-paint the shadows myself!

Face SDF was done in Designer, while hand-painted shadows were done in Painter.

I'm glad how my model turned out in UE5 with the shaders I made. There are still plenty of areas to improve, but I've made a significant step toward my goals!

I'll keep sharing more of what I've done for Ichor Burns!

Cool to know a bug from 3DS Max 2017 still exists in version 2025. I was wondering why my morph target modifier wasn't exporting to Unreal Engine. Thanks, Autodesk.
