Yet the key perpetrators of the evil scheme have not been bought to justice. They have been tracked down and now must repay debts which could lead to prison.

Why does Australia subsidise profitable companies to export something that belongs to us? Surely it’s easy to phase out the subsidies and put the money to better use.

Just saw on the news that @sussanley.bsky.social is writing to the Republicans to saying she will revoke Australia’s stance on Palestine. Shamed by the attitude and appalled that she thinks it’s OK to suck up so much to the US. Long may the LNP stay in the wilderness.

This just made the BBC news. Driving along the wonderful cliff tops in Cornwall and heard this ignorant old politician sprout his vile racism across the airways. His Lebaneses grandfather would be disgusted.

It’s a good thing after the recent disease outbreak. Not just wooing the cross bench but actually responding to community concerns. Let’s hope there are real outcomes which improve conditions and creates a really sustainable industry in all facets of the meaning.

Good news. Still need to keep the pressure on to phase out all logging of old growth forests. Too precious to destroy. Need to support communities to transition to other employment, including habitat restoration.

The people want a grown up parliament which negotiates and collaborates to get the best possible outcome. Neither liberal or Labor are willing to do this to create a workable government which includes the views and values of the progressives (inc Greens). Time for both leaders to resign.
